Why there is a limit at all
A crawl costs bandwidth twice: Ours and yours. Twenty-five pages is a few seconds of your server's time; five thousand is a sustained crawl, and running that for everyone who pastes a URL would mean either throttling everybody or becoming a nuisance to the sites being scanned. Charging for the large ones is what keeps the small ones free and fast. A free visitor gets an allowance of them each day; a plan removes the ceiling.
Nothing that is free today moves behind the paywall later. If that ever changes it will be because the alternative is switching the site off, and it will be said plainly on this page rather than discovered.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as one site audit?
One domain, audited once. Every scanner runs against it in a single job - security headers, TLS, email authentication, WordPress, JavaScript and the SEO crawl - and the crawl covers up to your plan's page limit. It is one credit however many pages that turns out to be, and however many scanners find something.
Do quick scans use up credits?
No. A credit is only spent when you ask for a full audit, and only once that audit finishes: a job that fails or that you cancel costs nothing. Quick scans are counted separately - without a plan there is a limit on how many sites you can scan in a day, and on any paid plan that limit is gone.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Quick scans keep working, and full audits wait until the month rolls over or you move up a plan. Nothing is deleted and no report you have already run disappears. Unused credits do not roll over.
Can I change or cancel a plan?
Yes, at any time, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Moving up mid-month gives you the difference in credits straight away; moving down applies at the next renewal.
Why is the annual price 30% off rather than the usual two months free?
Because a year of commitment is worth more to us than a month, and we would rather put that into the price than into a discount that only looks large. Lite is $66.99 a year against $95.88 paid monthly, and Pro is $166.99 against $239.88.

A report is kept only so its link keeps working, and it is served noindex so it never turns up in a search result. Nothing about a scan is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone.
